Meet Dr. Kalayeh

Board Certified Cardiovascular Specialist


Nicholas Kalayeh, MD, is a board-certified, skilled cardiologist at Advanced Heart Care Associates, with an office in Henderson and two locations in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has over 12 years of experience working as a cardiologist in a variety of settings. He’s also a professor at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas and Touro University Nevada in Henderson, Nevada.

Dr. Kalayeh earned his bachelor’s degree in biology, with a minor in chemistry, at the University of Texas at Arlington. He completed his medical degree at Spartan Health Sciences University in St. Lucia, West Indies, and a family medicine internship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. 

Dr. Kalayeh continued his medical training with an internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Banner University Medical Center and Carl T. Hayden Veterans’ Administration Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. 

He also completed an interventional cardiology fellowship program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) at Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey.

Dr. Kalayeh maintains his advanced credentials with continuing education to stay current with the latest advances in the field of cardiology. He is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology, and interventional cardiology. Dr. Kalayeh is a member of the American College of Physicians, American College of Cardiology, and the American Heart Association.

He’s participated in numerous research studies that appear in prestigious medical journals and is fluent in English and Farsi. In his free time, Dr. Kalayeh loves software design, martial arts, off-road driving, carpentry, auto restoration, and table tennis.

He enjoys helping his patients achieve exceptional health and looks forward to caring for them at Advanced Heart Care Associates.
